1 credit = 1 second of editing, charged after the job finishes.
1 credit = 1 second of a tool working on your video; time in the queue is free. Before an edit starts you see its estimate as a range, worked out from your video's length and the options you pick. To start, the top of that range needs to be free in your balance. Nothing is taken up front: when the job finishes you pay only the seconds it actually used. If it fails or you stop it, you pay nothing. Downloading from a link is charged the same way, by the second it runs; uploading a file is free. Credits last 30 days from when they're added, and your oldest credits are always used first.
A 30-minute match usually downloads in a minute or two, then the clips are ready about 3–4 minutes later. You can close the tab; it keeps going.
