Cookie policy
Last updated 8 October 2026
This policy explains the cookies Deepsoch AI uses on gameclip.run, why, and how you can control them. A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. We keep ours to the minimum needed to run the service — we don't use cookies to advertise to you or to follow you around the web.
The short version
We set one cookie that sticks around — the one that keeps you signed in — plus a couple that last only a few seconds while you sign in with Google. No advertising cookies, no analytics or tracking cookies, and nothing sold to anyone.
What we use
- Your sign-in session (essential). When you sign in, we store a secure cookie — better-auth.session_token (with a __Secure- prefix on our live site) — so you stay signed in as you move between pages. Without it you'd have to sign in on every click. It holds a random identifier, not your name or password, and is marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax, so it travels only over an encrypted connection and can't be read by scripts.
- Signing in with Google (momentary). If you choose “Continue with Google”, our sign-in library sets a couple of short-lived cookies to complete the handshake safely and guard against request forgery. They clear the moment you're signed in.
No other cookies. We don't run Google Analytics, advertising pixels or social media trackers.
Two of your preferences are kept in your browser's local storage — which is not a cookie, stays on your device and is never sent to us: your light or dark theme, and whether the sidebar is collapsed.
Third parties
When you make a payment, checkout is handled by Razorpay in India and by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, everywhere else. Their checkout pages may set their own cookies to process the payment securely and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by Razorpay's and Dodo Payments' own policies, not this one. We never see your card, UPI or bank details.
Videos you upload are processed by our cloud provider; that happens server-side and sets no cookies in your browser.
How long they last
- The sign-in session cookie lasts for the length of your session and is renewed while you keep using the service. Signing out clears it.
- The Google sign-in cookies last only seconds — until the handshake finishes.
- Your theme and sidebar preferences stay until you change them or clear your browser's site data.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser's settings at any time. Because the only cookies we set are strictly necessary — to keep you signed in and to complete sign-in — blocking them means you won't be able to sign in to gameclip.run; the rest of the public site, including these policy pages, still works. We don't show a cookie consent banner because we set no cookies that the law requires consent for.
Changes
If we ever add a cookie, we'll update this page and the date at the top first, and if the change is significant we'll tell you in the app. See also our privacy policy and terms of service.
